Joomla! Simple RSS module was inspired by an older RSS PHP class. It is small  and simple but nice PHP class, so I've just added some additional styling and module parameters. What does it do? It simply reads certain RSS feed and makes a small content field in a given module position. Module is using its own css, so you can present feed articles in a way which is best fitting your needs.

Through module parameters, you can configure feed url, number of articles, limit word number, resize images, show or hide feed name and timestamp. Additionally, if you have some lightbox plugin installed, articles in original sites would be opened in a lightbox window. The trick is, that way the reader will not leave your page, and still has an opportunity to read the whole article. Module is Joomla 1.5! legacy compatible. In the future, some new functions will be added.
