As you probably know, titles are very important part of a high-quality SEO. There are two kinds of titles - article title, and a page title. Search engines love both, and depending on a certain algorithm, would boost your page's SERP. Joomla! Page title Extended module was inspired by an older "Heavenly titles module".

With some additional development, module is now Joomla! 1.5 native compatible. Also, I've added several new functions. Module shows content page title wrapped with various heading styles - H1, H2, H3..., in different colors, fonts, font weights, etc. Additionally, content page title is inserted in a HTML page title. Also, you can append some text, which will appear after the page title. The best of all, page title can be hidden from visitors, but visible by Search engines. You have complete control over your page titles - appearance, position, styling. Information about installing, configuring and styling can be found in next chapter of this article.

Note: There are some styling issues regarding templates which are using absolute top positioned elements, like collapsible (hidden) top menus. If so, "invisible" published modules would remain "visible", unless you create a new module position above such module position, and publish Page Title module in a newly created position. The problem was spotted using Yootheme "Way beyond" template.
Solution: Make a new div and module position called "pagetitle" before original module position "absolute", and publish the "Page title module" in it.
